Des Moines Art Festival 2011

The Des Moines Art Festival ran Thursday through Sunday this year.
We went down Friday night to meet friends and watch a band from the 80's called the Smithereens.

We met up with our friends on the library lawn and spectated a lively game of duck-duck-goose.

 First the rules were discussed....

I'm really sick of leaving work every day and seeing this

But today is a good day because T and I are going to a live music even tonight at People's Court. It's one of my favorite music venues. Small but not too small. Roomy. Good view of the stage from anywhere. In the heart of downtown. :)

In celebration of WWW and it being a concert night, I'm wearing stripes.

Earlier this week, T and I met my grandparents for dinner at the newest downtown Des Moines restaurant, Americana.
