I'm Nic.

I was born and raised in the capital of Iowa, Des Moines.

I have an adorable, underbite sporting dog- Roxy- who sheds a lot and now knows how to pose for pictures when I ask.

I love to travel. Especially when I can try local restaurants and see cool things. 

I like to talk about music, food and healthy living like it's my job.

I love to run and do hot yoga.

I'm a college graduate.
I'm a Christian who is grateful for the power of grace.
I used to be a smoker.

I take pictures like I'm paparazzi.
I love craft beer and bourbon.
I love seeing live music. 

I like perching on a bar stool with a friend to analyze music, relationships and life.

I like to buy a coffee mug from every city I visit. 

I believe in the renewal and balance of all facets of life.

I like to think and write about who we are, how we got here and where are going.
