One Week and Counting!!

I ran 6.5 miles today.
After I got home, got a snack and relaxed...I realized that a week from today I'm going to be doing that again.

That's right- next Sunday I'll be in Minneapolis running the Twin Cities Marathon.
I'm excited/nervous/anxious/terrified/energized/happy!!
Literally a ball of emotions!
Remember last year when I got injured and couldn't run the marathon?

All summer long I have worried that something would happen and I would end up unable to run this year too. I have had nightmares about getting injured and having to say 'no' to ANOTHER chance at a marathon. Each time something got a little hurty I got FREAKED out that an injury was on it's way.
But I made it.
I feel fabulous.

7 days to go and I can cross RUN A MARATHON right off the list- '30 List' AND 'Life List.'
I GOT this.

I definitely tried to follow a schedule for most of August and September, but it was pretty hit and miss until that point. Busy social schedules, poor planning and beautiful patio weather caused some issues. :)


Day after 20 miler lunch with Mom. I'll probably never be this skinny again. HA

Next week I'm only running 2 3 mile runs and then it's MARATHON DAY!!!

    1. Thanks Joey- I changed up a few thigs but would love to have a full redesign... And maybe someone teach me a little bit about blog design. :) I'm definitely not savvy that way.
